[ It may only have been a couple of years since Helena had been to London but it easily felt as if it were a lifetime ago, though her rather short stay on her previous visit may have had a part in that feeling. This time planned to stay for a little longer - several days, perhaps a week. Enough to see her home, to see all that had changed and to enjoy the time with a dear friend.

Helena didn't often talk about her life prior to being bronzed, but despite that there was one thing that was painfully clear - how much she missed home. She'd travelled before with the Warehouse but even so she'd never been away from London for so long, and she'd certainly never been anywhere else long enough to call it home. This trip with John, albeit booked on a whim, would give her the chance to live it all again, if only for a little time - and she could share it as well.

After getting some sleep for the night, the flight had been rather long (and not so well timed), they'd set off for the "H.G. Wells Museum". The last time that Helena had been there she'd been slightly amused, for part of the talk at least. It had been nice seeing her home, and it was refreshing that it had been kept almost how she'd remembered it (minus a number of her belongings, sadly). This time on signing in Helena had been as creative as ever, choosing Janny Hall this time (rather than Edward Prendick as before) before waiting with John (and the small crowd) for the talk and tour to begin. This time she might try to roll her eyes less and take it all in (although last time some Secret Service agents had broken up the whole thing) ]
